VIS 9 RGB Video Extender

The Thinklogical VIS-9 single fiber RGB extender transmitter supports any analog RGB video connection up to 225 MHz. The VIS-9 has a local RGB video display port (HD15) on the transmitter and is compatible with any Thinklogical fiber video receivers (except dual-link DVI), whether RGB or DVI. The VIS-9 is also fully compatible with the DCS line of matrix switches.

The VIS-9 features a small package and requires a power supply (cube). The VIS-9 is available with a single ST fiber connector and two HD15 video connectors on the transmitter. The VIS-9 video transmitter has a power indicator light. A link status LED on any Thinklogical receiver, will indicate the presence (or lack) of sufficient optical power for the extender to operate within specification, possibly revealing a fiber infrastructure problem, such as a bad connection or a broken fiber.
