If your a Flight Simulator Enthusiast or even a major player in the Flight Training Industry then we will see you at the Jupiter's Casino on the 27th and 28th of October.  We will be presenting a Christie Digital HD3 projector, with a native DLP panel resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at a luminance of around 2800 ANSI lumen's.  This will be coupled with a SEOS Mercator distortion system which allows the incoming video stream to be bent and warped across the curved image to present a geometrically correct image.  The next step would be to add more Projection Channels and Image Generators to span and tile displays to make a pixel palate as large as your imagination.  Christie Digital have also developed and implemented an automatic calibration system to align multiple blended and tiled images at the press of a button.  VRS are about to install this first of a kind display system in Australia very soon, so watch this space.
