VRSync software

VR Solutions has released the new VRSync software.

SimJet Flight Simulator which Utilses VRSync Software

It is an extremely simple and lightweight program that endeavours to provide the smoothest experience possible when running Microsoft's Flight Simulator X across multiple networked PCs.

If you would like a 10 minute trial of this software please click here.

If you would like to purchase the full version of  VRSync click here .

It is based around a client/server topology, the idea being that a server PC can be used to interface with any external control systems, sound devices, instructor stations etc. while all of the heavy duty 3D graphics can be offloaded to any number of client PCs.

VRSync attempts only to synchronise the following graphical elements:

    - Aircraft positioning
    - Weather
    - Time of day
    - Aircraft lights

Additionally, the synchronisation of AI elements is currently in development.

It is not designed to synchronise cockpits or other data across a clustered PC environment. For this reason it is best to remove all internal cockpit graphics.

Requirements

Any PC running FSX with at least a 10/100 networking interface, either on board via the mainboard or via NIC (Network Interface Card).

Currently it is also necessary to have a registered copy of FSUIPC (available from http://simmarket.com/) installed on each PC, this will hopefully not be necessary in the future.

VRSync has been successfully tested with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, both 32 and 64-bit variants of all three.
