Fibre Optics + Switching
Camera Link Extender
Camera
Link is a new high-speed serial data interface standard developed by a
consortium of camera and frame grabber companies, based on National
Semiconductor’s Channel Link technology. Thinklogical makes fiber optic
transmitters and receivers which allow longer distances (1,000m) between the
camera and the framegrabber. Versions are available to support all Camera Link®
modes, as well as pan, tilt, zoom data signals.
Crosspoint switches
The
Thinklogical DCS (digital cross-point switch) line of fiber-in
and fiber-out non-blocking matrix switches are fully
compatible with all of Thinklogical's fiber video extenders and KVM extenders,
and scales from 8 source cpu's to 8 desktops (8x8) to 144 source computers to
144 desktops (144x144). The Thinklogical Digital Cross-Point Switch eliminates
copper cable problems and cable management issues, while improving security and
video integrity. The Thinklogical DCS is the newest technology in video and
complete desktop matrix switching.
DVI Extender
Thinklogical
manufactures fiber optic video extenders for analog RGB or DVI video formats
for video-only applications.
Thinklogical video extenders use only a single fiber to transmit perfect
video. Product versions are available which support DDC as well as local
displays (source end video distribution) and multi-head video.
