Interaction and Training with the Environment

The solution lets you review the environment through the eyes of a virtual human character.

You walk on the ground, climb stairs, and are conscious of the size and properties of the elements you see and operate.

These character behaviors provide realism in the training scenario. Characters can either be set on automatic paths, or follow the direction of the instructor or trainee.

The characters can have rule sets for behaviors established, based on time, position, or interaction to allow creation of complex scenarios that replicate real world situations.

Characters and objects in the training scenario can be customized to the exact client requirements, therefore matching all specifications of uniform, safety equipment, signaling and signage.

Driver interaction is achieved either through a generic train ‘control desk’ or specific simulation modules and cabs.

Environment Creation

VRS can custom create any environment or track network for the simulation to run, using generic or geo-specific urban and terrain models.

The VRS immersive display is the ideal environment for delivering a shared immersive Virtual Reality experience. This immersive experience is achieved by the wrap-around nature of the screen that fills the viewer’s main and peripheral vision. The trainee has no distractions from external stimulus and all the vision is filled with the virtual images.
